Afua Asantewaa Aduonum overjoyed as Delay shows up to support her recording breaking attempt

The Ghanaian woman aiming to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest singing marathon, Afua Asantewaa Aduonum, couldn’t contain her delight upon seeing media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay.

On the evening of December 25, 2023, Delay made an appearance at the sing-a-thon grounds to show her support for Afua Asantewaa.

A video, shared on Facebook by Pulse Ghana and spotted by GhanaWeb, captured the heartfelt reactions of Afua Asantewaa, who joyfully acknowledged Delay’s presence, and the feeling was reciprocated.

It’s reported that Afua Asantewaa Aduonum and Delay share a close friendship, explaining the evident joy on the face of the record-breaking singer upon seeing her.

In addition to Delay, other notable figures such as Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and showbiz personalities including Cina Soul, Efya, Kwabena Kwabena, Afronitaaa, Nana Ama McBrown, Piesie Esther, Dancegod Llyod, Akuapem Poloo, among others, have attended the event to lend their support to Asantewaa.
