Shani Louk’s mother, who is Israeli-German, believes that her daughter was taken by Hamas fighters at a music festival in Israel. Sadly, she has announced that her daughter has passed away.

Ricarda Louk, speaking to German media, said that the Israeli military informed her that a DNA sample from a part of a skull bone confirmed it belonged to Shani.

They have not found her body yet.

Shani’s sister also said on social media that Shani died.

Adi Louk posted on Instagram that Shani, who was 22 years old, was killed in the attack known as the “massacre at Re’im. ” This attack was carried out by Hamas in southern Israel, close to the Gaza Strip, on October 7th.

However, the reports did not say exactly where or when they found the piece of her skull.

MsLouk was at a festival near Kibbutz Re’im when some people started shooting. This caused everyone at the party to be very scared and run away into the desert.

Over 260 people died, according to the Israeli authorities, and some people were held captive.

Shortly after the attack, a video started spreading on social media. In the video, a young woman’s body was being shown being carried through the streets on a truck. Around the truck, there were armed fighters and others shouting “Allahu Akbar” (which means God is Greatest).

The woman was lying on her stomach, but Ms. Louk’s family claimed they recognized her based on her twisted hair and unique tattoos.
People were guessing on the internet and in the news that she was dead, but Ms Louk’s mother thought her daughter was still alive.

Ricarda Louk said online that we received a video showing our daughter unconscious in a car with Palestinians driving around Gaza Strip. She asked for any information.

Talking to a German TV news channel RTL/ntv on Monday, Ricarda Louk said that she now believes her daughter has been dead since 7 October and may have been shot in the head during the Hamas attack.

“She said at least Shani didn’t feel any pain, and it was comforting to know for sure. ”

According to Israeli authorities, more than 1,400 people died in the attacks by Hamas. However, it is taking longer to identify some individuals because their bodies are in bad shape.

It is believed that over 220 people were kidnapped and four people have been set free.

The health ministry in Gaza, which is controlled by Hamas, said that over 8,000 people have died since Israel started bombing in response.
