Sane set to replace Salah at Liverpool

Liverpool is actively considering Bayern Munich’s winger Leroy Sane as their top choice should Mohamed Salah decide to depart from the club.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool is prepared to surpass their previous transfer record to secure the services of the former Manchester City speedster, who has been in outstanding form this season.

Sane has found the back of the net nine times in 14 appearances for both club and country during this term, forming a productive partnership with Harry Kane for the Bundesliga champions.

Reports suggest that Salah had garnered interest from Saudi Pro League clubs during the summer, and it’s anticipated that renewed interest in the forward will surface in the coming months. Given that Salah’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2025, there’s a likelihood that Jurgen Klopp may opt to capitalize on the asset within the next year.

The director of football for the Saudi league, Michael Emenalo, recently stated, “Mo is welcome at any time.”

“Mo is my personal favourite. There are many world-class players showing interest. It’s a place where you can go and have fun and definitely improve their economics.”

A deal for Sane would not come cheap, with Real Madrid also expected to make their interest clear to Bayern.
