Liverpool’s Mac Allister likely to face disciplinary actions after claims of Tottenham having’12 players

Alexis Mac Allister may face disciplinary action from the FA for his “12 players” social media comment following Liverpool’s controversial defeat to Tottenham.

The World Cup-winning Argentina international, like many others, expressed dissatisfaction with the match officials’ performance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League fixture.

During that match, Liverpool had two players, Curtis Jones and Diogo Jota, sent off, and a valid goal by Luis Diaz was disallowed due to another VAR review team error.

PGMOL has issued an apology for a “significant human error,” but Liverpool has called for a more comprehensive solution to addressing costly officiating mistakes.

Liverpool has experienced several contentious decisions against them in recent times, and last season, Jurgen Klopp received a two-match touchline ban for accusing referee Paul Tierney of bias in another high-stakes encounter with Spurs.
