Bayern Munich has officially announced the acquisition of renowned Tottenham striker and England’s national team captain, Harry Kane, in a transfer deal worth £100 million ($127 million).
The confirmation of Kane’s transfer comes after several weeks of negotiations and some contemplation on the player’s part in recent days.
Having made his decision, the 30-year-old striker has put pen to paper on a four-year contract that extends until the summer of 2027.
As part of this transition, Kane will inherit the No. 9 jersey previously worn by Robert Lewandowski, who departed for Barcelona a year ago.
While there is a possibility that the English striker might make his debut tonight against RB Leipzig in the DFL-Supercup, it remains uncertain whether he will be part of the starting lineup.
This uncertainty arises from the fact that the deal wasn’t officially confirmed until Saturday morning, and Kane has yet to train with his new teammates.
