Three individuals have lost their lives in a devastating accident on the George Walker Bush Highway.
The incident occurred on Sunday morning when a 23-seater Sprinter Bus, registered as GR-6046-21, experienced a tire burst while transporting passengers from Ablekuma to Kasoa.
The bus was reportedly speeding at the time of the crash, causing it to somersault three times near Awoshie Water Works.
Numerous passengers also suffered varying degrees of injuries. Eyewitnesses reported the prompt arrival of the police and ambulance to transport the deceased and injured to the hospital.
The driver, who escaped unharmed, attempted to flee the scene but was swiftly apprehended by law enforcement.
