Dormaahene to name first male child after Andre Ayew

Dormaahene Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II has made an announcement recognizing the contributions of Black Stars captain Andre Ayew to the country.

The seasoned forward is among the Black Stars players present in the area to participate in the 2023 All-Star Festival.

The festival is taking place in the Bono, Bono-East, and Ahafo regions, and is attracting numerous attendees, including national team players.

During a special gathering on Thursday, Dormaahene revealed that the first male baby born at Dormaa Hospital on Friday, June 23, will be given the name Andre Ayew as an honor to the footballer.

In an additional pledge, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyemang Badu II indicated that he will together with the traditional council cater for the baby until he reaches the age of maturity.

Andre Ayew is in Dormaa with other top players including Jordan Ayew, Wakaso, Afena Gyan, Kudus Mohammed, and Kamaladeen Sulemana.
