Tension hits Nyankpala after enskinment of new chief

The enskinment of a new chief has caused tension in Nyankpala, in the Tolon District of the Northern Region.

The Dataling-lana was enskinned by the Ya-Na Thursday.

But a few hours after the ceremony, sporadic gunshots were heard in the Nyankpala community.

As a result, security personnel have been deployed to the area to restore calm.
