The Police Service has arrested four suspects for their involvement in a land dispute at Gomoa Akramang in the Central Region on November 8, 2022.
The suspects are Sumaila Ibrahim, Agbenyegah Kusavi, Kwame Nyarko and Samuel Eson.
During the arrest, the Police retrieved a pump action gun, cutlasses, two live BB cartridges and three spent BB ammunitions.
The violent encounter last Tuesday unfortunately led to the death of one Quashie Edem, who was working on a parcel of land in contention.
His remains has been deposited at the Police Hospital Morgue for preservation and autopsy.
Some other residents who sustained injury during the attack are currently receiving medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the suspects have been arraigned before the Awutu Beraku District Magristrate Court.
They have been remanded into Police custody and will reappear on November 24, 2022
