Sasa Kalajdzic: Wolves readies to sign Stuttgart striker after agreeing fee

Sasa Kalajdzic is expected to transfer from Stuttgart to Wolves when the two clubs agree on a transfer fee.

For star striker Sasa Kalajdzic, Wolves have agreed to pay Stuttgart 18 million euros (£15.4 million) plus add-ons.

After yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle, manager Bruno Lage expressed his desire to add another forward to the lineup to challenge Raul Jimenez.

Austria striker Kalajdzic, 25, has been on Wolves’ radar for a number of weeks.

He asked to be left out of Stuttgart’s Bundesliga game with Koln at the weekend.

Meanwhile, Willy Boly’s likely move to Nottingham Forest is understood to be edging closer.

Boly opted not to turn up for the Newcastle game despite being asked to by Lage in order to push through the transfer. There is still no agreement on the fee.

Meanwhile, striker Patrick Cutrone has secured a move away from Molineux. The 24-year-old has joined Italian Serie B side Como, his hometown club, on a permanent deal.

The Italian, who joined Wolves in 2019 from AC Milan, has had loan spells at Fiorentina, Valencia, and Empoli since the start of 2020.
