Parts of Accra and other Greater Accra region metropolitan hubs, including Kaneshie and Tema, were flooded after nearly four hours of rain.
Kasoa in the Central Region has some of it’s roads closed due to the large volumes of water impeding free flow.
The Ghana Meteorological Agency had earlier issued a warning about “pockets of rain over Southern Ghana.”
“Breaks of sunshine will be experienced later. Afternoon to evening rains is expected over parts of the middle and northern sectors,†the Agency added.
