Naana Agyarko interested in burial of late MP, not his seat – Spokesperson

A family spokesperson for the wife of the late Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko has said Mrs Naana Baiden Agyarko has not expressed any interest in succeeding her husband for the vacant parliamentary seat.

In a radio interview Tuesday morning, the family spokesperson said Mrs Naana Agyarko was presently interested in how she can lay the late husband to rest and organise a befitting funeral.

He indicated that Naana Agyarko has not given permission to anybody for them to use her name or lobby for her to succeed the late MP.

The family spokesperson, Kwame Nsiah Poku speaking to Accra based Okay FM Tuesday morning expressed concern about how the focus has been shifted from the burial and funeral to who was to succeed the late MP.

He said the parties engaging in the politicking with Naana Agyarko’s name does not have her permission to do so.
