34 injured in accident on Nkawkaw-Kumasi highway

A tragic head-on collision on the Nkawkaw-Kumasi Highway at Nkawanda Number Two has left some 34 individuals injured.

The incident that took place on August 31, involved a DAF truck (GW 9206-S) and a TATA bus (AS 6727-D).

The bus had 31 passengers, while the truck had 3 occupants who were trapped and later extricated by members of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS).

All injured parties were rushed to Kenop Care Hospital in Nkawkaw for medical attention.
