Regional Chairman for the Ashanti Region and a prominent figure in the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Chairman Wontumi expressed strong confidence in the party’s prospects for victory in the upcoming 2024 elections.
During the unveiling of NAPO at the Manhyia Palace, he emphasized the NPP’s readiness and optimism about the election’s straightforward nature.
Chairman Wontumi asserted that the party has meticulously prepared to secure victory, declaring, “We have numerous strategies to win the 2024 elections. Nobody can stop us,” Chairman Wontumi stated.
Thousands of NPP supporters gathered at the Jubilee Park in Kumasi for the official unveiling of NAPO, who was announced as the running mate to Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the party’s flagbearer.
The event brought business activities in the central business district to a halt as jubilant party supporters flooded the area in NPP colors and attire.
The announcement of NAPO’s candidacy sparked spontaneous celebrations across the city.
