Joana Gyan, the campaign chairperson for NDC flagbearer John Mahama in the Amenfi Central constituency, has assisted party’s campaign efforts by donating two Toyota Hilux pick-up vehicles.
The donation was officially received by Regional Chairman Nana Toku on behalf of the constituency at the Sekondi NDC Regional Head Office on July 17.
Expressing her hopes for the donation, Joana Gyan emphasized its potential to enhance the party’s mobility and operational efficiency as it prepares for the December 7 general elections.
During the handing-over ceremony, she reaffirmed her dedication to the NDC and underscored the importance of retaining the Amenfi Central seat.
Highlighting the economic challenges facing Ghanaians, Gyan stressed the need for a change in leadership.
“I am ever ready and committed to working with you all to ensure that we deliver an NDC victory in the Western Region and retain the Amenfi Central seat so we can continue the good works,” she stated.
Gyan also pointed out the urgency of addressing the country’s economic woes, adding, “Ghanaians are suffering under the current leadership, and only a John Mahama presidency can save us. Please use these cars to reach every corner and spread the message of hope from the good policies of our flagbearer, John Mahama.”
In response, Regional Chairman Nana Toku, accompanied by constituency executives, expressed gratitude for Joana Gyan’s substantial donation.
He assured her that the vehicles would be effectively utilized to amplify the party’s campaign activities and pledged to manage them prudently to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.
“In my political career, I have never witnessed an individual donating two pick-up trucks to a single constituency. This is truly humbling, and we are deeply grateful to you, Joana Gyan,” he stated.
