The youthful Arsenal players have the potential to assist the team win the English Premier League, according to Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey of Arsenal.
In their most recent league match, the Gunners came from behind to defeat AFC Bournemouth 3-2, with Partey scoring one of the goals.
Reiss Nelson, a 23-year-old winger, scored the game-winning goal in the 97th minute after coming off the bench to give Arsenal the victory.
Nelson also assisted in Ben White’s goal that equalized the scoreline, after Arsenal fell behind by two goals.
Partey commended the maturity of young players like Nelson, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, and Gabriel Martinelli after the significant victory.
He highlighted that they have the requisite maturity, experience, and readiness to accomplish everything they set their minds to, including taking home the Premier League championship.
“Well, I think now they are not younger players anymore. They have experience. They have been playing for a long time. They are mature.
“I think it is time for them to be able to achieve whatever they want to achieve. That is their dream. I think they are all ready to achieve this,” Partey said according to The Independent.
