The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, has launched the ‘Arise for Ghana Series.’
This online episodic short broadcast series is designed to delve into and discuss crucial topics concerning leadership, governance, values, attitudes, and actions that play a pivotal role in shaping national development.
In the debut episode, Fifi Kwetey issued a call to action for all Ghanaians, beginning with NDC members, urging them to rise up for the betterment of Ghana and to embrace the profound responsibility of contributing to the nation’s progress.
He explained that “the Arise for Ghana is a series meant to speak to all patriots of the land- which words incidentally constitute the very first line of the NDC anthem.”
The series extends an invitation to all patriots of the nation, commencing with members of the NDC and extending to encompass all Ghanaians, including those sympathetic to the NPP. It calls upon them to rise up for the country and cultivate a deeper love for their nation.
Fifi Kwetey elaborated on this call in a Facebook post, highlighting the necessity for millions of NDC supporters and all citizens to grasp the gravity of the challenges currently facing the nation.
The General Secretary of the NDC emphasized the importance of all patriots responding to the call by placing the nation’s interests above all other considerations.
He underscored the NDC’s commitment to nurturing individuals who hold their country in high regard and prioritize it in all their endeavors.
This series aims to impact the mindset of Ghanaians, given the pivotal juncture the country finds itself in today.
