Well-known Nigerian singer Wizkid, Ayodeji Balogun, has revealed his preference for his favorite footballer between Lionel Messi of Argentina and Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal.
Ronaldo and Messi have been engaged in a long-standing rivalry throughout their careers, with fans often debating and arguing over who is the better player.
Both of these exceptional footballers have achieved numerous titles at the club level as well as for their respective national teams.
Messi, after many attempts, finally won the World Cup in the 2022 edition of the global competition in Qatar. It was an incredible moment for the former Barcelona captain.
According to reports on Daily Post and Vanguard, Wizkid made it clear that although he does not watch football, he prefers Ronaldo ahead of Messi.

“I don’t watch football [laughs]. Ronaldo, I guess.”
A report on BBC stated that Messi netted the fastest goal of his career after one minute and 19 seconds while playing for Argentina in an international friendly match against Australia.
Scaloni’s side were playing their third fixture since lifting the World Cup in December, and their first outside of Argentina.
Messi has won the Ballon d’Or award seven times.
