And also the annual Best Teacher Award for both private and public schools within the constituency has been a catalyst to motivate teachers to deliver well.

Touching on Health, Nii Manle said the Sosu “Health Project” has been helping people in the community to improve their health through the frequent health outreaches.
Some residents of Teiman also expressed gratitude to the MP for his generosity and activism in the community.

One trotro driver, Isaac Boakye alias Akporso gave an account on how he was rescued by Lawyer Francis Sosu from been jailed for 14 years.

The chief also bemoaned how partisanship is affecting the MPs effectiveness. He pointed out how the MP is a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the Municipal chief executive (MCE) is a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP). He opined that this difference in party amongst the leaders in the constituency affects smooth flow of work.

According to him, a conversation with Mr Xavior-Sosu reveals how he has appealed for funds from parliament to no avail and thus making it difficult for him to do more work than he has already done.

“As for the MP we have not problem with him. We have seen so much about him. Even this short time he went to parliament, he has done a lot. He has done so many things. so we are supporting him. if he wants to go for another term, why can’t we help him, we can help him.”

“The issue here now is that the MP here is from the NDC and the MCE is also from the NPP. You see we have to think about the people not about party colours. I have had serval discussions with him and he has been telling me because of the party he belongs to, if he asks anything from parliament they don’t want to give it to him. But we have to first think about the human beings, before the party issues comes in. So he has done a lot and we hope he will do more in the near future.”

With the expressed sentiments of the people of Madina towards Xavier-Sosu, it falls upon his fellow parliamentarians on both sides to collaboratively ensure the maximum satisfaction of the members of his constituency.
