Ghanaian actress and philanthropist Precious Frimpong, better known as Fella Makafui, has been spotted on the set with Mr. Ivan Quashigah, the executive producer of You Only Live Once (YOLO), the most-watched educational TV series in Ghana.
One of the most adored characters in the Emmy-winning TV show, Fella Makafui, has not shown up in seasons five or six.
Given that she is arguably the show’s biggest breakout star, her disappearance in recent seasons has sparked discussions among fans.
However, a recent image of Fella Makafui with Mr. Quashigah—who also serves as Farmhouse Productions’ CEO—was shared on social media and this has sparked rumors that Fella Makafui may be returning to the series.
Although specifics are still being withheld, fans are getting excited about Fella Makafui’s arrival on set in advance of the premiere, which is set for Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Silverbird Cinemas.
Farmhouse Productions Limited produces the YOLO TV series in collaboration with various organisations, including the National Population Council, Ghana Health Service (GHS), Ghana Education Service (GES), and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Among other things, the serial drama promotes important messages about nutrition, family planning, reproductive health, and the wellbeing of children and adolescents.
Jackie Appiah, Adjetey Annan, Majid Michel, Vicent McCauley, Aaron Adatsi, John B. Peasah, and many more well-known actors have graced the YOLO series.
