We feel for the family of our colleague, as well as anyone close to the victim or affected by this violent incident.

The school said that classes and events will not happen until Wednesday.
UNC’s Police Chief, Brian James, explained that the weapon used in the shooting has not been found yet and the investigation is still ongoing.

“He said during the press conference that we want to collect all the evidence to find out what happened and why it happened. ”

The leader of North Carolina is the Governor. Roy Cooper made a statement saying that he promised to provide assistance from the state to aid in the investigation.
