The Ghana Football Association has reportedly given new Black Stars coach Chris Hughton a three-year contract, according to reports in the local media.
The former Brighton & Hove Albion manager replaced Coach Otto Addo, who resigned from the position after Ghana was eliminated from the 2022 FIFA World Cup in the Group Stage.
The Black Stars have had Mr. Hughton as their technical advisor for the last 12 months.
Assistant coaches Mas-Ud Didi Dramani and George Boateng will help Chris Hughton.
The technical staff for the World Cup in Qatar included the three coaches.
According to the report, Ghana’s qualification for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations competition has been given to Chris Hughton.
Chris Hughton will be unveiled in Kumasi ahead of Ghana’s game against Angola. His unveiling delayed due to the death of Chris Hughton’s father.
