Man City and United Fans caught in a fist fight at Wembley

A disturbing video capturing an altercation between Manchester United and City fans at Wembley Stadium during the FA Cup final has emerged.

The two Manchester teams locked horns in what was the first FA Cup final in history on Saturday, June 3.

However, the match was riddled with unpleasant scenes, with a section of fans from both teams filmed fighting in the stands.

According to talkSPORT, fans with opposing red and blue shirts appeared to throw punches on the concourse at the stadium in London.

Whereas stakes were high ahead of the match, it still remains unclear what sparked the ugly confrontation between the fans.

Man City stun Man United

Meanwhile, it was City who emerged as the eventual winner of the tie to keep their treble dreams alive.

Sky Sports reports that Ilkay Gundogan was City’s match hero, with the German star bagging a brace to earn his side a much-needed win.

Gundogan needed just 12 seconds to score the opener, with his goal now the fastest-ever in the history of the competition.

Bruno Fernandes went on to restore parity for the Red Devils from the penalty spot, only for Gundogan to strike again in the second half for City’s winner.

The Citizens will now be shifting their attention to the upcoming Champions League final, where they will be facing Italian giants Inter Milan.

The tie represents a realistic opportunity for City to win their first European trophy in history.
