Following Napoli’s league win, Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen had the opportunity to meet up with Italian forward Mario Balotelli.
Osimhen’s exceptional performance of scoring 23 goals in Serie A played a significant role in leading Gli Azzurri to their first league title in 33 years.
Prior to their meeting, Osimhen had already engaged in a conversation with the former Inter Milan striker through Instagram on the day Napoli secured the championship.

The duo finally met in Italy, after Balotelli returned home to watch the UEFA Champions League semi-final clash between his former clubs, AC Milan and Inter Milan.
In a photo shared on social media, Balotelli and Osimhen were seen having fun as they celebrated the moment together.
“Trust me, you did incredible. You still don’t know what you did, trust me. You will realise what you did, not tomorrow, not next year, but in 10 years you’ll understand what you did,” Balotelli previously told Osimhen, as reported by Vanguard.

With the league wrapped up, Osimhen has now switched his attention to winning the golden boot. The Nigerian striker leads the goal race with 23 goals.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich and Paris-Saint Germain are reportedly interested in his services next season.
Balotelli celebrates Osimhen’s league success
Previously, Sports Brief reported that Italian striker, Balotelli heaped praise on Osimhen after the striker won the Serie A title with Napoli.
The Super Eagles forward has been the leading man for the side, with his 23 goals powering Gli Azzuri to their first Scudetto in 33 years.
With four games still to go in this campaign, Osimhen is said to have switched his focus to claiming the prize as the Serie A top scorer.
