A video currently circulating on social media captures TV3 media personality Berla Mundi posing a question to Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during a recent press engagement.

In the video, Berla Mundi asked Dr. Bawumia why President Nana Akufo-Addo has yet to comment on the deaths of eight individuals during the 2020 elections.

She also pressed Dr. Bawumia on why he himself had not addressed the tragic events publicly.

“Mr. Vice President, according to Fact-Check Ghana and the Media Foundation for West Africa, the 2020 election resulted in eight deaths. We are yet to see an official comment from you or President Akufo-Addo regarding the matter,” Berla Mundi stated.

However, in a new twist, videos have emerged showing President Akufo-Addo addressing the issue on several platforms.

This has led to widespread criticism of Berla Mundi’s line of questioning, with many netizens lambasting her for what they perceive as a lack of research and preparation.
