I didn’t want to end things with Michy, but she was ungrateful – Shatta Wale

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall star Shatta Wale has openly admitted that he still has feelings for his former girlfriend, Shatta Michy.

In an honest conversation on the “Rants, Bants, and Confessions” podcast, released on October 31, 2024, he shared that he endeavored to support the actress during their relationship, but he felt that his efforts went unappreciated.

Reflecting on their more than five years together, Shatta Wale expressed a desire for their relationship to end positively, yet he remains uncertain about what the future holds for them.

“You see Shatta Michy, she should know that I love her so much that I didn’t want to leave her.

But she wasn’t appreciative of all that I did for her. I don’t want to go deep into it because it was a terrible memory,” he stated.

The “On God” hitmaker also mentioned that their breakup left him heartbroken.

“Let us keep it like that, but she also gave me a broken heart,” he added.
