Black Stars trio Joseph Aidoo, Alexander Djiku and Kamal Deen Sulemana may miss the team’s first training session today, Tuesday.
The three are yet to link up with the rest of the squad in Abu Dhabi as the team begins preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
According to reports, 23 players have reported to camp and arrived in the Arab country on Monday evening.
The players currently in camp include, Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Danlad Ibrahim, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Nurudeen Abdul Manaf, Mohammed Salisu, Daniel Amartey, Denis Odoi, Baba Abdul Rahman, Gideon Mensah.
The rest are Alidu Seidu, Salis Abdul Samed, Elisha Owusu, Kamal Sowah, Antoine Semenyo, Tariq Lamptey, Osman Bukari, Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Daniel Barnieh Afriyie, Mohammed Kudus, and Daniel Kofi Kyereh.
The team will stay in the capital of the United Arab Emirates for four days where they will play an International friendly against Switzerland at the Baniyas club stadium on Thursday, November 17, 2022.
Coach Otto Addo announced his 26-man squad on Monday with several notable names dropped due to injury or loss of form.
