World Cup 2022: Portugal favourites to top Ghana’s group – Otto Addo

Portugal is expected to win Group H, which includes the Black Stars at the Qatar 2022 World Cup, according to Ghana coach Otto Addo.

The Black Stars lost their initial World Cup game to Portugal, and they’ll be hoping to rebound against Korea.

Last Thursday, Cristiano Ronaldo made World Cup history by becoming the first player to ever score five goals. His second-half penalty gave Portugal the advantage over Ghana.

Andre Ayew of Ghana then equalized, but Portugal won and topped Group H despite Osman Bukari’s late winner with two goals in three minutes from Joao Felix and Rafael Leao.

The Black Stars will take on South Korea in their second Group H game on Monday afternoon at the Education City Stadium.

Ahead of the clash, the Germany-based trainer says Portugal are favourite at the moment to top Group h.

“At the moment, it looks like Portugal, we were a bit unlucky like we could have earned a point against them”

“You see everything is possible, Uruguay is good and South Korea also, I think it’s equal group and anything can happen. I think there might be surprises”  he said.
