World Cup 2022: Danlad Ibrahim – Player Profile

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim has been named in the final Ghana squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The young shot-stopper is one of 26 players included in the squad list officially announced by Ghana head coach Otto Addo on Monday, November 14.

The 19-year-old was born on December 2, 2022, and spent his early days learning the sport at Sunyani Hamburg SV.

With vast experience playing for various national teams, Danlad Ibrahim has gone through the mill and is now going to the World Cup as a reward for his consistency over the last few years.

Not only did Asante Kotoko excel in the Ghana U17 team at the youth level but has he also been superb for the U20 and U23 tea in recent times.

Danlad Ibrahim currently is playing his football in the Ghana Premier League, a team he has been contracted to for so many years.

Even in his teenage years, Danlad Ibrahim is already a Ghana Premier League winner with the Porcupine Warriors.
