Hearts of Oak coach Slavko Matic has stated that his side conceded a cheap goal against Bibiani Gold Stars on Saturday afternoon.
The Accra-based club won 2-1, their first win in the ongoing Ghana Premier League. The Phobians won after second-half goals from Isaac Mensah and Gladson Awako.
“You saw Bibiani from first minute they start to waste our time they didn’t play forty minutes today anti football. Football win today and character of my players before this game they feel pressure of course and when you receive this cheap very cheap goal somethings start to be more difficult for us,” he said after the game.
“But I think we had a very good meeting on the half after the goal we change formation from 4-4-2 to 3-4 and we score second goal and we go back to 4-2-3-1. Tactically we make good things the most important thing and it is really good for my players. We must continue to work hard to play because every game will be like this,”
Hearts of Oak are presently 1oth in the league with five points.
In their next Ghana Premier League match, they will travel to the Cape Coast Sports Stadium to face newcomers Kotoku Royals.
