Vinicius Junior is delighted to be working with Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti and the Brazilian national team in the future.
Ancelotti has been linked with the vacant managerial role following Tite’s departure after the South Americans’ heartbreaking World Cup exit, despite still having a contract with the La Liga giants.
Vinicius has risen to prominence under Ancelotti’s tutelage at Real Madrid, according to Madrid Universal. The veteran manager is now interested in becoming Brazil’s next manager, according to the forward.
Fellow Los Blancos star, Rodrygo earlier revealed he would love the Italian to take over as the national team manager after showing his admiration for the coach.
Ancelotti has been widely tipped to leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and perhaps an announcement on his future is not far off.
Ederson backs Ancelotti for job
Meanwhile, Manchester City goalkeeper, Ederson also believes Ancelotti will most likely be named as the next Brazil coach, Daily Mail reports.
The shot-stopper urged Brazil’s FA to seal the move after revealing he had spoken to national teammates, Casemiro, Eder Militao, and Vin Junior.
All three of these stars have worked under Ancelotti at Real Madrid but the Italian manager has never managed at the international level.
Real Madrid shortlist Ancelotti’s replacement
Sports Brief also reported on Real Madrid beginning the search for Ancelotti’s replacement as Real Madrid manager, following the club’s recent slump in form under the veteran Italian.
Club president, Florentino Perez is leaving no stone unturned as he tries to arrest Los Blancos’ poor run of results and will reportedly not mind a change in coaching if it is seen as needed.
It was reported Real Madrid have since shortlisted Castilla coach, Raul Gonzalez and former Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel as Ancelotti’s potential replacements in the club’s hot seat.
