Black Satellites standout Abdul Aziz Issah has finalised a deadline-day transfer from Ghanaian club Dreams FC to Barcelona.
Although an official confirmation from Barcelona is still awaited, reports suggest that Aziz will join Barcelona B.
Dreams FC shared the news on X, confirming that the 18-year-old has successfully secured a move to the Catalan giants.
“Dreams FC announces the transfer of Abdul Aziz Issah to Spanish giants FC Barcelona. The 18-year-old finalised his move on transfer deadline day,” the club wrote.
Abdul Aziz emerged as the standout talent in the 2023/2024 Ghana Premier League season, making an impressive debut at just 17 years old.
The young forward played a crucial role in Dreams FC’s remarkable journey to the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Aziz showcased his skills by netting four goals and providing two assists in 10 appearances, making him one of the competition’s leading scorers.
He is now the second player to secure a transfer to Barcelona during the recently concluded transfer window, following in the footsteps of David Oduro.
