The Guardian reports that a competition for Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher is emerging between Tottenham and Bayern Munich.
At 23 years old, Gallagher is currently contending for playing time in the central midfield, a challenge intensified by Chelsea’s recent acquisitions of Enzo Fernandez, Moisés Caicedo, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Roméo Lavia.
A potential offer of £50 million is anticipated to be sufficient to secure Gallagher’s services. Tottenham is in the hunt for a replacement for Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, who is linked with a move to Atletico Madrid.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich is seeking a new No. 6 midfielder. However, it’s noted that former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel would prefer a loan arrangement for Gallagher.
