Thomas Partey’s time at Arsenal has come to an end – Reports

Black Stars midfielder Thomas Partey is reportedly set to conclude his tenure at Arsenal, according to a report by British journalist Ryan Taylor.

The Ghanaian is expected to leave the Gunners at the end of the current season, primarily attributed to his persistent injuries and resulting unavailability.

Thomas Partey, who became the most expensive Ghanaian footballer after joining Arsenal in the summer of 2020 for a transfer fee of £45 million, has faced challenges with injuries throughout his time at the club.

These persistent injuries have limited his playing time for Arsenal below the anticipated level.

In the ongoing 2023–2024 Premier League season, Partey has not featured for Arsenal since contributing to the match-winning goal against Manchester City on October 8, 2023.

Having played just four games for Arsenal in this season, his return to action remains uncertain after suffering another setback, as confirmed by Mikel Arteta in January 2024.
