Chelsea have secured the services of Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho on loan until the end of the season.
The deal, which includes an obligation for Chelsea to make the move permanent next summer for a fee between £20-25 million, offers the England international a fresh start after a challenging period at Old Trafford.
Sancho, who joined Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in July 2021 for £73 million, has struggled to find his footing at the club.
Despite making 83 appearances across three full seasons, his time at United was marred by a high-profile dispute with manager Erik ten Hag, resulting in Sancho being excluded from first-team training.
After a brief loan spell back at Borussia Dortmund in January, Sancho returned to Manchester United in the summer but has not featured in either of their Premier League matches this season.
The 24-year-old, whose last appearance for England came in 2021, was notably left out of the squad for both the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the upcoming Euro 2024.
