Saka signs and gifts Arsenal jersey to Wizkid after 3-1 win over Liverpool

England and Arsenal’s right winger, Bukayo Saka, presented an Arsenal jersey to Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Wizkid after Arsenal’s 3-1 win against Liverpool on February 4, 2024.

Saka, of Nigerian descent, scored the opening goal by capitalising on a scuffed chance from Kai Havertz.

Despite a temporary leveller with a Gabriel Magalhães own goal, Alisson’s errors, including a miscommunication with Virgil Van Dijk, allowed Martinelli and Leandro Trossard to secure victory for Arsenal.

Post-match, Saka met with Wizkid, both commonly known as “Starboy,” with Saka playfully declaring Wizkid as the real Starboy.

Saka was captured on a video saying “for the original starboy” when he was signing the jersey for Wizkid.
