Real Madrid’s pursuit of Kylian Mbappe may finally come to fruition as the club has made a new offer to the wantaway Paris Saint-Germain forward.
Mbappe’s future is uncertain as PSG has given him until the end of the month to either activate a one-year extension in his current contract or depart this summer.
According to Goal, PSG initially set a price tag of €200 million for Mbappe but are open to negotiations if a club matches their valuation in an effort to recoup some of the money spent on the talented forward.
Real Madrid has reportedly offered Mbappe a salary of €50 million if he joins the Spanish side this summer, as they aim to fill the void left by the departure of Karim Benzema.
The proposed contract would span five years and include a €1 billion release clause, deterring other clubs from making a move for the 24-year-old superstar in the near future.
