Reactions from celebrities during Ghana’s encounter with Portugal

While it lasted, the 2022 FIFA World Cup match between the Black Stars and their Portuguese opponents produced both joyous and heartbreaking moments.

Numerous Ghanaians, especially celebrities, were unable to conceal their emotions when key moments of the game were filmed showing equal amounts of enthusiasm and despair.

The Black Stars quickly responded with an equalizer after supporters were miffed that the referee failed to stop Mohammed Salisu’s challenge, which led to Ronaldo’s penalty, which the latter scored.

Celebrities from Ghana who were watching from their homes, bars, etc. were enthused by the goal.

But when the Portuguese scored their second and third goals, resulting in a 3:2, their hearts were pounding and their sadness was visibly etched on their faces.

These people demonstrated fervent support for the Black Stars squad throughout the game, as seen in the range of their reactions collected in a popular video.

Some spectators, however, feel that Ghana was the victim of poor refereeing because of what they felt was a dubious penalty awarded to Portugal during the game.
