Inter Milan beat Empoli 1-0 to close 2018 last Saturday at the Stadio Carlo Castellani.
Asamoah joined the Nerrazuri from Juventus FC in July, 2018 signing a three year deal and has since been an integral member of the team.
“My first few months at Inter have been intense and exciting, we have to grow in the next six months even more.” he expressed.
The Nerrazuri are currently lying 3rd on the Serie A table but Asamoah is optimistic the team can do much better than they have done so far this season.
“I am convinced that we can do even better than this: the best moment I think the home win against Tottenham, Vecino’s goal was very exciting.”
“Next year we have to achieve important goals: in football it is difficult to make promises but we will put our full commitment. Best wishes for all 2019 Inter fans!”
The 30 year-old versatile player has made 22 appearances and scored once for the Milan based side since joining.
