Renowned England international, Harry Kane, might be making a move in the upcoming summer transfer window, and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) appears to be a potential destination for him.
PSG is actively searching for a marquee center-forward, especially with Kylian Mbappe’s impending departure. I
nterestingly, Lionel Messi allegedly recommended Kane as an ideal candidate for the role, and the French club seems willing to heed Messi’s advice.
Currently, Kane is in the final year of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur, and this situation has caught the attention of Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga champions, who are also keen on acquiring him.
However, PSG is determined to disrupt Bayern’s plans and secure Kane’s services for themselves.
Having served Tottenham for an impressive 13 seasons, Kane has etched his name in the club’s history.
Throughout his tenure, he has played 456 matches and scored an impressive 284 goals, making him a highly sought-after talent.
In response to Kane’s refusal to sign a new deal, Tottenham has issued an ultimatum, demanding that he either commits to a new contract or be sold this summer.
Spurs’ owner, Joe Lewis, is reportedly frustrated with the situation and has instructed Daniel Levy, the club chairman, to sell the forward if no resolution is reached.
As Kane still has one year left on his current contract, he could leave as a free agent next summer if he doesn’t sign an extension.
While PSG seeks to bolster their attacking options, former Tottenham midfielder Jamie O’Hara cautioned Kane against joining the French club, citing reasons despite their need for reinforcement after Messi’s departure and Mbappe’s uncertain future.
Furthermore, Bayern Munich’s interest in Kane remains active, but Manchester United’s pursuit has cooled down due to Tottenham’s reluctance to sell their prized asset to a Premier League rival.
