Manchester United is aiming to generate £100 million by offering Antony and Jadon Sancho to clubs in the Saudi Pro League, as per reports from the Evening Standard.
Earlier this month, Sancho left United on loan, returning to his former club, Borussia Dortmund for the remainder of the season. The 23-year-old’s future at Old Trafford seems uncertain following a notable fallout with manager Erik ten Hag.
Antony, who made an £82 million move from Ajax in the summer of 2022, has struggled to replicate the form that justified his transfer, failing to contribute a goal or assist in any competition.
In an effort to recoup a significant portion of the transfer fees, especially given the high wages involved, United is exploring potential deals with Saudi clubs.
Director of Football John Murtough initiated discussions with officials from the Saudi Pro League and Saudi Ministry of Sport during the Club World Cup last month.
The Red Devils are seeking £50 million for each player, with additional Saudi interest in Casemiro and Raphael Varane.
However, Varane, whose contract expires in the summer, won’t be offered a new deal by United.
