Man Utd and Borussia Dortmund agree on Sancho’s loan move to former club – Source

Manchester United has reached a preliminary agreement to loan Jadon Sancho back to his former club, Borussia Dortmund, as reported by ESPN’s Rob Dawson.

However, certain details still need finalisation before the 23-year-old winger can join the Bundesliga side.

Expressing a desire to return to Dortmund, where he played before his £73 million move to Old Trafford 2½ years ago, Sancho has been out of favour with United’s first-team under manager Erik ten Hag.

United has accepted the proposed framework for a six-month loan from Dortmund, which involves a nominal fee and a contribution towards Sancho’s wages.

Despite the acceptance, the formal signing of the agreement is pending, and until that occurs, Sancho won’t be cleared to join Dortmund’s winter training camp in Spain.

Barring any last-minute breakdown in negotiations, the England forward is expected to receive the green light over the weekend.
