Zlatan Ibrahimovic made an appearance at AC Milan’s training session, which took place a day before their upcoming Champions League match against Newcastle United.
AC Milan is coming off a demoralising 5-1 loss to their rivals, Inter, in a Serie A match last Saturday. Now, they are aiming for a strong comeback in their Champions League fixture against Newcastle United.
In a bid to provide inspiration and support for the team, the iconic former Milan forward, Ibrahimovic, visited the training ground.
During his visit, he engaged in a conversation with manager Stefano Pioli and Pioli’s assistant.
In June of this year, Ibrahimovic declared his retirement from professional football during AC Milan’s last match of the 2022–23 season, which took place in front of a full San Siro stadium.
Looking ahead to their Champions League match on Tuesday, Coach Pioli might consider some adjustments to the Milan starting lineup, and there’s a possibility that he will place USMNT star Christian Pulisic on the bench.
