Kobbie has to be in the next England squad – Ian Wright recommends

Former Arsenal star Ian Wright has commended Manchester United’s midfielder, Kobbie Mainoo for his remarkable performances in the English Premier League.

The young talent, who hails from England but has Ghanaian heritage, has gained recognition for his standout performances in recent weeks while playing for the Red Devils.

Mainoo’s impressive displays has earned praise from several pundits in England, with many advocating for his inclusion in the upcoming England national team call-up.

Wright, echoing these sentiments, expressed his belief that Mainoo deserves a spot in the next England squad during a recent interview.

“Kobbie Mainoo has to be in the next England squad. Such maturity in chaotic conditions is something we’ve not seen from an England player in a long time. Impressed every time I watch him,” the former England striker said.

Kobbie Mainoo is still qualified to play for Ghana’s senior national team, even though he has represented England on a number of U20 national teams.
