Isaac Dogboe confirms date for his next fight

Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe has confirmed his next fight, scheduled for Saturday, November 18, 2023, in Manchester, United Kingdom.

However, his opponent for this bout has yet to be announced.

Dogboe’s most recent fight took place in April 2023, where he suffered a defeat in a world title match against Cuba’s Robeisy Ramirez.

The bout ended with a unanimous decision in favour of Ramirez and was held in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.

For his upcoming fight, Dogboe will compete in the WBC Featherweight Eliminator, marking his first professional match on British soil.

Isaac Dogboe gained recognition when he became the WBO super bantamweight champion on April 28, 2018, after defeating then-world champion Jesse Magdaleno.

However, he later lost the WBO super bantamweight title to Emanuel Navarrete at the Hulu Theatre in New York City’s Madison Square Garden on December 8, 2018.

It’s worth noting that Dogboe is now under new management, known as Rising Star African Promotion (RSAP), having parted ways with his father and former trainer, Paul Dogboe, in 2021.
