Ghana Football Association (GFA) has officially announced the deadline for applicants interested in the vacant coaching position for the Black Stars.
As per the recent FA statement, candidates looking to be considered for the role have until 11:59 PM on February 2, 2024, to submit their applications.
Following the dismissal of Chris Hughton after the Black Stars’ early exit from the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the GFA Executive Committee has formed a five-member panel. This panel is responsible for recommending a new coach within a three-week timeframe.
The Committee is not restricting its search to only those who apply; it has the authority to actively explore and consider suitable coaches, even those who haven’t formally applied.
Prospective coaches interested in taking on the responsibility of leading the Black Stars are encouraged to submit their applications. This includes a curriculum vitae or resume and a mission statement, which should be sent to the Search Committee via email at recruitment@ghanafa.org before the specified deadline.
