Former Ghana Captain, Asamoah Gyan, remains unperturbed by the criticism surrounding his inclusion in Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia‘s 2024 campaign team.
Gyan, appointed to lead the “Youth and Sports” manifesto sub-committee, expressed confidence in his ability to contribute positively despite mixed reactions.
Speaking at the inauguration of the NPP’s Campaign Team for the 2024 general elections, Gyan asserted, “They have their own opinions. I have been there [before]… I am used to it.”
Emphasising his 20 years of experience, he affirmed his commitment to sharing knowledge with the new generation.
Gyan acknowledged that criticisms are inevitable, but he remains focused on the work ahead.
The Manifesto Committee, tasked with reviewing the party’s previous manifestos, is gearing up for the 2024 elections.
