I am impressed with the performance of the players in training ahead of quarterfinal game – Annor Walker

Head coach of Black Galaxies Annor Walker says he is delighted with the performance of the players in training ahead of the quarterfinal showdown with Niger on Saturday.

The Black Galaxies training in Constantine before flying to Oran to face Niger.

Ghana qualified from the Group stage with six points, behind Madagascar who will face Mozambique in the other quarterfinal game in Constantine.

The Black Galaxies will train one more time in Oran on Friday evening. The training will be supervised by coach Annor Walker and his two assistants Prosper Ogum and Bismark Kobi Mensah.

“Yes I am so excited during the week before our match against Sudan it was raining the same time. We had to do such an exercise here and it has also helped today it is raining and temperature is very high and we had to do and indoor exercise which they have done,” he told reporters.

“They need to sweat because they are already fit and in shape they don’t need to sit down there the whole day that is why they have to do something to let them sweat,”

“As we are leaving to Oran to play the quarterfinal match. So I am really impressed and happy with the response that the players gave out,”
