On Sunday, November 27, 2022, at 4 p.m., 40 players who have been called up by Black Galaxies head coach Annor Walker are expected to report to camp at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence – Prampram.
The athletes must start preparing for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) competition, which will take place in Algeria in January of 2020.
After qualifying at Nigeria’s cost, Ghana is back in the continental championship for the first time since 2014.
Salisu Yusuf’s team managed to erase the deficit from the first leg thanks to goals from Zulkifilu Muhammed and Chijioke Akuneto, but it was not enough to qualify them for Algeria.
The past three tournaments have not included Ghana.
Group C includes Ghana, the reigning champions, Morocco, Madagascar, and Sudan.
The competition begins on January 13 and runs through February 4, 2022.
18 teams from the continent will fight for the ultimate for the first time in the tournament’s history.
