Hamburg legend Thomas von Heesen has eulogized new Black Stars forward Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer after his exploits last weekend against Hannover 96.
The Ghana international climbed off the bench to score an incredible solo, bursting with pace from the middle of the pitch before taking on two defenders to slot home.
Reacting to the Ghanaian youngster strike on the back of his great strike for Hamburg against Bayern Munich back in 1982 said, “My goal back then was quite good, but Konigsdorffer’s solo was definitely a class better,”
“The goal was rounded off by the timing and importance, according to von Heesen: “If you deserve to win in the very last second with such a wonderful goal, that’s the best thing of all.”
Ransford-Yeboah, who made his debut for Ghana against Nicaragua has scored five goals in seven matches this season.
